I have a brand new now tv box however the youtube app only plays for 20 minutes before it automatically switches back to now tvs home page..
Some of the videos I like to watch are 1hr plus long..

Have you tried some of the standard stuff like going into nowtv box settings and disable the screen saver, delete and re install the Youtube App and if still no joy perhaps try steps1, 2 & 6 in the help guide linked below.
