YouTube App Sign in

I am having trouble signing into the Youtube App on NowTV box.

After selecting sign in on Youtube app, it says that it's searching for another device but obviously doesn't find one.

The 'Try another method' option doesn't work either as there's no method to open a browser for the URL and nowhere to enter the code.

Has anyone solved this please?

Hi. I can help you here, on YouTube where says sign in go to try another way it should give you a code if it does then do this as follows

Open browser on your smartphone/ laptop search for youtube.com/activate then key in code that’s on app, then sign in using your details then click allow then should be signed in how worked for me.
