Do you have any non-alphanumeric characters in your password?
If you do change them to numbers and letters because the Now TV system finds non-alphanumerics problematic.

You asked, "My password is a word followed by numbers. Shall I change that?". No, because it's only non-alphanumerics that cause the problem, i.e. <, >, &, %, etc.
However, apart from the "@" in your username, do you have any other non-alphanumerics in there?
I had to asked but, for this purpose, I would assume not.
OK, I would suggest that you press the reset button, on the back of your box, with a pin for about 10 - 30 seconds. This will reset and clear your device so that you can start again with a blank slate.
