'Star' key press on video player does not give the popup to change subtitles

In my Now TV 4K box when I press star on my video player there is a popup coming to change settings such as Subtitle and night listening mode. 

Where as I don't see the options coming up on my Now TV Black box and Now TV Smart box with a blue logo.

These are the version which has the problem

Now TV Smart box : 9.0.3 build 4113-16

Now TV Black box - 9.0.3 build 4116-10

These versions does not seems to have the problem

Now TV Streaming Stick : 9.0.3 build 4113-56

Now TV 4K : 9.0.3 build 4113-56

Any advice will be helpful.
