This was incredibly helpful thank you. I have NOW on my Smart TV and it was reading the above message. Deleting the app and reinstalling it seemed to fix the problem. It was caused by a password change.

Hey! I’ve had the same problem this evening.
I reset router and stick with no luck. I managed to repair to controller. I kept pressing ‘retry’ and then I just decided to press all the buttons
When I pressed the ‘sky store’ one it took me to the page and then pressed ‘home’ and it took me to the home screen and worked!

If you are trying to use general apps like netflix, YouTube itv you can download the roku app from the Google pay store on your phone and use apps without the remote 👍

I'm having the same problem.
To get round it I'm opening the Now TV app from the App Store:
1) Scroll to the bottom of the homepage
2) Select the App Store and press OK
3) Select the Now TV app and press OK
4) Select 'Go to app' and press OK
It's not ideal but, hopefully, they're sort out whatever this problem us fairly soon.

I’ve been experiencing this problem for the past week and have finally resolved it!
I run ad-blocking software on my router and noticed a lot of requests from the Now TV box being blocked. Disabling the ad-blocking software has resolved the issue for me. If I find the the time I’ll try to isolate the specific IP/URL which is causing the problem, but for now I’m happy to just allow the Now TV box to bypass my filtering.

I disabled pihole and it worked.
Now added:
pubads.g.doubleclick.net
tpc.googlesyndication.com
To the white list and nowtv seems to load now

Resolved. Our Pihole DNS based adblocker was preventing Nowtv on Roku loading, since end of august 2020. On the Pihole we had to whitelist:
dpm.demdex.net
pubads.g.doubleclick.net
now is working again
