Parental block

I’m turning off the parental block, it says it’s off but stays on completely restricting me.

Welcome to the forum. Is this the parental block for watching passes or the block for websites if you are a broadband customer?

I have the same problem as @Anonymous User, I think.

We have TV and broadband.

Until 9:30pm we can't access dating websites, dating apps, pornography or any adult content.

As four singles in our late twenties and early thirties it is really annoying.

I go into the settings on My Account and TV controls can be turned off but how do you turn it off for broadband?

@Anonymous User

Click "My account" and then "parental controls". There should be an option for broadband settings and from there you can turn broadband buddy off.

so please click the Thank You/Thumbs Up button if I helped you out and maybe even accept it as a solution? 🙂

Thanks @caseyb1993 but unfortunately no such option, only TV controls available.

@Anonymous User You have to make sure you're logged in with the NOW TV account that has your broadband billing set up on it, to check you are logged into the right account go to your My Account > My Package page and it should give details of your broadband.

Also is it definitely a Broadband Buddy stop page you get when you try to access an adult website during the day?

Hi casey and Andy, thanks for your advice but I am in the right package and I followed that support article and no luck.

It is def a Broadband Buddy stop page.

Cheers, I think we'll just have to live with it.

Best thing you can do then is to give the broadband team a call and see if they can shift it for you at their end, you'll find the number on your My Account > My Package page (in the moving home bit).

Hi,

I don't have my Page in the My Account menu.

The whole my account menu does not contain any info on me or my payments whatsoever and this damn Buddy is blocking everything despite me turning off the parental pin.

Horrible system.
