Oops something went wrong

Hi, I can't log in to my account on the website or via my now tv box. I recently changed my password and went through process of setting up a new password. All seemed to be accepted but when I tried to log in on the website I got the "oops something went wrong" message. The same thing happened when I tried to log in on the now tv box.

 

Does this mean my account is locked and I need to ring customer service?

Though since i took this screen shot at 18.30 this evening the message has been removed from the NowTV website suggesting it might have been resolved.

 

If you can't still log in post back here and i will give you an email address to get in contact with NowTV.

The stream to TV service is a pile of dog excrement. Constant disconnections. Netflix/Amazon Prime are on a different level of service. I won't renew & I'll never recommend this pile of garbage.

I tried all advice, deleting app, reboot internet, nothing worked until I simply unplugged tv At socket for 5 mins switched back on then all worked fine

This is to help YOU when you cannot activate a new Now TV BOX (eg 4k voice activated) or Stick against a current Now TV account. Basically when the Box or Stick asks you to enter the 6 digit code shown on the the screen eg 4jc567 at this Address www.NowTV.comThen every time you do whether from a phone, tablet or PC you get get WHOOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG and your stuck with a box or stick to use as a paper weight.

I strongly suggest you don't waste anytime like I did, 6 days talking to online help and waiting for technical to contact me with every excuse under the sun, try logging in from a different PC, phone, tablet resetting the box 25 times etc etc. Then telling me to return a perfectly working box to the supplier. The problem appears to be at their end; poor software affecting a very large number of accounts. In order to get your box to activate for the first time you will have to set it up with a totally new account new payment details etc. Then once the box is working change to your original account and cancel the new one. It sounds long winded; but its the only way to avoid weeks of disappointing support. I had to loose the free passes that came with the new TV Box they did not activate but it is now working with my original account. I hope this helps someone not to waste all the time I did, in hoping that, someone ,anyone at Now TV could solve the issue for me. They could and did not.

It's quite unhelpful to post a link to a problem that was not the problem you think - wrongly - you are trying to help with. I never used any sticks or nowtv device ######. My NOWTV was perfectly activated with all the things needed, the account, the pass number, the right TV device. That link simply dropped. With the stupid message 'get your now tv pass here.......(stupid website).. It 'came back' once, then dropped forever.

NOWTV don't give any help with that here, they deliberately refuse to give any help on this issue on their telephone service. NOWTV is basically useless. I do now have a cheap roku stick it doesn't need anything other than my login details for this site, and it's great - for much more than NOWTV, Since I've now watched everything I wanted, that isn't available elsewhere free, on NOWTV I no longer need NOWTV but my pass continues for some time and as I've paid for that it's all pretty academic because I'll never renew it.

Just wanted to add that after waiting 3 weeks for Nowtv support to get back to me I tried the solution from @Anonymous User above and it worked.

I have purchased the kids pass but when i try and play in on my now tv box (black) one, it says "oops something went wrong". It works fine on my phone. I use the now tv box to watch the other apps (Roku / Disney Plus / Iplayer) - all fine. 

 

This is an on going problem as my ex partner used to use the now tv box under his account. It used to work fine and then started doing the same as above so he cancelled his contract. 

 

I think the now tv box is broken. I checked the settings and ensure all updates have been completed.

 

Please help.
