Numpty question about upgrading from white to black box

Hello, we are thinking of upgrading from the white to the black box as we have a few problems with the white box, (especially iplayer which is almost unwatchable as it's so unresponsive). We're also finding that we have to regularly restart the box just to get it to play a program.

 

If we buy a new black box with an entertainment pass, do we simply cancel our current subscription and re-register with the new box?  Or is there a way of transferring the subscription and logins over from one to the other?

Hi @Anonymous User, 

 

No you don't have to cancel anything. After your new 'black' box is connected to your network, you log into your existing NOW TV account and play some 'Entertainment' content.

 

 

The NOW TV service permits you to register up-to four playback devices and view their service on up-to two at the same time on one NOW TV account. You can find out which devices you currently have registered by selecting the: 'My Account' button and accessing 'Manage Devices'.

 

You can submit your 'Entertainment' voucher pass code, within the last month of you current subscription. And it will automatically roll-over, without you loosing any days...

No need to cancel anything, just use your current NOW TV username and password to log into the new box and you can watch all your passes as normal. If you no longer want to use the white box just factory reset it and then remove it from your device list

That's great news  as I have a white box with the entertainment pass and wanted to upgrade to the newer black box and keep the entertainment pass the same .
