Now TV app disappeared from ‘my apps’ and subtitles turned on

NOW TV app reset itself whilst we were watching a film. When it came back on, subtitles came on and the NOW TV app has disappeared from ‘my apps’. Followed advice from previous posts (system updates, turn box off) but it still hasn’t appeared in the menu. The only way we can access NOW Tv is to go through ‘search for apps’. Has anyone else had this problem or can advise further?

When I posted here back in August 2020, there was an option to access the NowTV App via the My Apps and Apps Store on NowTV branded devices.

 

Since then this option has been removed by NowTV. 

 

The quickest method I have found to access for example your NowTV Entertainment section from the new look home screen. 

 

Is to navigate down the left hand side until you highlight the orange entertainment pass ticket tile box, then click OK on it with your remote, this will then automatically open the next screen page with the different Entertainment categories etc (saves a couple of presses on the right navigation key when scrolling across to View All).
