No sound!!

So, have had now tv box (black) for a while now and using on a Toshiba tv. I don’t use an app, just go to my hdmi setting. The problem is for no reason the sound has stopped when on now tv but fine on Toshiba. Have tried all the tips I can find but no joy. HELP!!!!!!

Two things i would try is going into the NOW box Settings under Audio and try the Stereo mode setting.

 

If that doesn't work go into the Toshiba TV settings and under HDMI CEC (Might be called Regza link on older Toshiba TV's) and try disabling it.

Another thing you could also try if the Toshiba TV is an older model is to go into the NOW Box Display Settings and switch from Auto to 720p.

 

If you are using a new 4K Toshiba TV, then see if it has an HDMI Enhanced mode or Optimal HDMI mode and if so try playing around with the different settings.

 

Also maybe try unplugging the power to both the TV and NOW box and maybe try another HDMI cable and HDMI port on the television.
