If you tried everything suggested on the forums then i am guessing you tried the following already ?
Reboot the box at the mains.
With the TV and box off tried unplugging the HDMI cable at both ends then reconnecting the HDMI cable.
Tried a different HDMI port on your TV.
Tried a different HDMI cable if you got a spare one.
Checked in your TV sound settings if there is nothing preventing the sound.
Checked in box menu settings and played around with the HDMI Audio options.
Factory hard reset the box.
If none of the above work, have you got another TV in your house, only just to see if the sound works from the box ?
