Network error when trying to log in on NowTV box

I've reset my password TWICE and can login on my laptop and smart phone no problem but my NOWTV box is freaking out and keeps telling me it's the incorrect password.

Even reset the box and NOTHING.

 

Anyone else having these issues? Seems like it has happened before.

Can you tell me which troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Who is your Internet Service Provider?

I have tried all the troubleshooting play forward rewind etc and reset with no luck my service provider is virgin media

@Anonymous User if you've managed to disable pings and still have issues I'd suggest enabling the guest wifi mode on your Super Hub and connecting the NOW TV box to that.

I have tried to do this with the hub but not having much luck prob not doing it correctly

Sorry to hear you are still having issues getting started. 

 

Here are our steps on setting up a Guest Network.

 

1 .Log into your router as you would normally

 

2. Click advanced settings

 

3. Click on the 2.4ghz first guest wirless network

 

4. Tick the box for enable 2.4ghz first guest wireless network

 

5. In said box type in what you want.

 

6. Choose your passphrase

 

7. Click apply and confirm

 

Then go back to your NOW TV box, rescan for network, select the one you just gave a new name for enter your passphrase you just gave as well and away you go, if it doesn't work first time then try disabling Pings as mentioned previously.

Thanks for posting.

 

If you havn't already try the steps here to disable pings on your box.

 

If you still have issues try the steps @Anonymous User has suggested in the post above. You can also try changing your router channel, you'll be able to find a guide on how to do this on your Internet providers website, or by searching google.

we're having problems in Saddleworth a week after all sky contracts when down in the area. B.T. claim it's to do with the junction station on the tops . but only sky customers..........

After mid night (23/10/2020) NOW TV broadband no connection at all! I have been waiting now more than couple of hours. Who can find out why was that ?
