HDCP unauthorised. Content disabled purple screen not working I've tried 3 HDMI cables but it's still not working turned it off and on but it's no different please advise. Thank you.

Has has anyone bought a hdmi splitter after watching this 🖕And did it sort out the purple screen?

I may be off to buy an HDMI splitter- just for a black roku box and can't get a single show to view. Livechat were nice but not sure what a follow up email from the tech team will accomplish. I've tried literally every fix mentioned in this forum to no avail haha

Ok, lots more searching revealed my Samsung is a 2009 model 😕 BUTTTTT I followed the instructions at the bottom of this forum page and it's unlocked everything- it's all working now. Hope this helps?

I've just been experiencing this problem but with my white now tv box!!! Never had the problem with this one before but I did when I brought the black one. That done it on a regular basis. How can I fix it permanently?

I am Getting Blank screen stating, "HDCP unauthorised  content disabled". What's Going On!!!!!

Welcome to the forum. Have a look at the following help page which explains what is happening

It's a case of messing around with the HDMI cable and TV until it works .... I find just changing the input on the TV to freeview and back again sorts it, but you might need to take the HDMI cable out of the box and TV then plug it back again, turn TV off and on again, power down the box and back up again etc. until you find the 'magic cure'! Start off by unplugging both TV and box at the mains, unplugging both ends of the HDMI cable and reconnect, then plug box and TV back in and see if it works.

cANCELLED THE sPORTS PASS but can use it till 13 June just switched on ###### purple screen HDCP unuatharised content disabled why the ###### do you think we bought the latest tv with the software so why is this happening totally at the end of our tether with you ###### who happy to take the money but don't deliver the ###### service you pricks.

These 'purple screen' issues have been around for as long as HDMI has been around. Quite often something as simple as swapping the HDMI lead around or giving it a wiggle solves the problem.
