Cuts back to home screen

Whenever I watch a show or movie, i get a few minutes of viewing and it cuts back to the home screen. This happens repeatedly, with nowtv shows, Amazon, and Netflix. Every few minutes it just goes back to the main menu and I have to start the whole process of loading app, searching show, etc again. Infuriating! 

Anyone else? Is there a fix?

Is the box fully up to date?

A suggestion you can set the box back to factory settings, as this often squashes any bugs on the system.
