Hi @Anonymous User

Being a customer just like you i wouldn't be able to answer that question, where over on the NowTV Twitter site, they are telling customers no date yet when the stick will be back in stock.

If you are not waiting for a replacement or an unfulfilled order directly from NowTV, then perhaps consider a NowTV stick from Argos with a bundled pass where they are currently selling the stick with either one month cinema or two month entertainment for £14.99.

Thanks so much for your reply, didn’t even think to check if they were being sold elsewhere so will order one from Argos, thanks 😊

Argos also seem to have very limited stocks of the sticks at the moment.

However Argos does seem to have plenty of 4K boxes and it is on offer at £35 at the moment.

@Karl-F

Would you be able to confirm when the Now TV sticks are back in stock?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Hi @chai

Yeah i noticed last night that Argos stock for the NowTV stick for £14.99 with either the bundled one month cinema voucher or two month entertainment voucher wasn't available in the stores near me (must be clearing stock) 😠.

The £14.99 stick bundled deals are hard to find with virtually limited stock of the above type bundled vouchers, where the £29.99 stick with a bundled one month cinema, entertainment, kids and one day sports pass are more readily available from NowTV approved retailers.

B&M Store's was selling both the stick and 4k box at a pretty good deal a few months back (though i haven't got a local store to check if the deal is still available and if so what stock levels are like around their different stores).

Hoping places like Currys, Argos, John Lewis, Tesco, Sainsbury's etc will be doing a Bank Holiday Flash Sale which happens sometimes with the NowTV Stick or Box with a bundled voucher pass included.

Just been on B&M website and they seem to be selling the stick with a bundled pass for £20 currently (they did have them up for £14.99 a few months back) and the NowTV 4K smart box for £24.99 which is an excellent price if you are lucky to get hold of one.

I don't know what stock levels are like within their nationwide stores.

If it was me i would wait until the Bank Holiday Monday to see if any retailers offer a flash sale.

Hi @Anonymous User @gavs82008 @chai @schnapps

Thanks for getting in touch.

We're aiming to make NOW TV Sticks available on our website again in the future, but unfortunately we've had a hiccup so we don't know when yet. We'll let the Community know once we've got them back.

As you've spotted, you can get them from many great retailers, usually bundled with Passes as well. That's probably a quicker way to get your hands on one!

Thanks,

Jason

I followed that link, and got nothing under £29.99 😞

Then I followed this one, and got an even better result.....

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Hi @RoyB

The £14.99 offer was there yesterday by following my link, where Argos must have removed it today due to no stock available from any of their stores 😡.

Hi @schnapps

I’ve edited my post. Have another look now 🙂

That’s the third time in two weeks, though, that I have seen a link morph into something it wasn’t at the time it was posted. Hence the screenshot 😛

Argos don't appear to have any stocks of the clearance sticks, just the full price ones.

@chai

I guess the clearance was successful then.

The interesting question, though, is why?

NowTV are out of stock of the Sticks, retailers are running their stocks down - what’s going to change?

Roku make the NowTV sticks, and they are cut-down versions of available retail Roku sticks.

So I’m hoping there’s a new Stick coming, based on the Roku Streaming Stick+, bringing 4K and HDR.  But uh-oh, that’s going to want HDCP 2.2, which I was just banging on about in another thread this morning. But then it’s OK, unless NowTV is going to blossom into using these technologies.

Maybe the HD Boost Pass testing petered out because 4K and HDR is on the way?

Yep, big shipment coming in on Porcine Airways, you mark my words....😛

Hi @Anonymous User

Not sure if you are still interested or have bought the stick from elsewhere, but looking at the NowTV website offers page the NowTV smart stick is now back in stock.

Sticks are still out of stock.  Is there a new device on the way?

Hi @SweetBlitz

Nope no new NowTV device on the horizon.

The reason from what i have been told, that there is no current stock of the Stick is because NowTV are keeping some stock back for customers who are exchanging from the white box to the Stick free replacement if the white box is their primary NowTV streaming device.

Very generous of Now TV to give out £25 sticks to replace obsolete £10 boxes (which effectively cost nothing).

Be interesting to see what happens on Black Friday.

Would be nice to have a now tv streambar https://www.roku.com/en-gb/products/audio/roku-streambar

Hi @SweetBlitz

I did ask NowTV if they did bring to market a NowTV Streambar, then put my name on the top of the hardware trial list (especially if the hardware was given out for free to test or at a reduced discounted rate to the trialists 😀).

I believe NowTV going forward are trying to simplify things in terms of hardware, supported devices and passes.

Hence the reason there is only the NowTV Stick in their hardware line up now (since they discontinued the NowTV 4K box which was a better product in my opinion, though a couple more quid more expensive than the Stick).

Do Roku sticks support the 30 minute pause/rewind on live channels?

Hi @SweetBlitz

Based on the current Roku OS and NowTV App unfortunately not, though it would be a welcome addition on the NowTV App on full blown Roku Players.
