Using Now tv stick on LG 4K tv for frame rate

I have an 4K LG webOS smart tv (2020 model) that has now tv app already on. I have both sports and boost passes to watch in full hd and at 50fps. When watching live sport it doesn’t show in 50fps and picture quality seems to dip here and there. If I get the now tv stick (that apparently runs at 50fps) and plug it into the tv will I be able to watch sport at 50fps in full hd?

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

If you have a down speed of more than 12Mbps then yes plugging in a NowTV Stick into the HDMI port on your LG television will give you 1080p 50fps on the six out of eleven Sky Sports channels with Boost.

 

Where the remaining five Sky Sports channels will be 1080p 25fps.
