Hi. I'm having issues trying to activate my smart stick.
I got to the point where I entered the on screen code into my now tv account on my computer and now all I'm getting on the tv is "oops something went wrong. There's a problem loading the next page. Hit the back button on your remote and try again"
Hitting the back button takes me back to the 'Get Started' page. If I select get started, I continually get the above message.
I've tried rebooting my modem and de-powering the TV to no avail.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I am having the exact same problem with mine also
I have full signal but have an error message saying there was a problem connecting to the network activation plug in not downloaded -4 can any one please help as I have followed all instructions
So, almost a month later and the problem hasn't been resolved. Still cannot activate TV Stick.
I had the same problem and solved it through Live Chat. I had tried using my mobile phone with wi-fi and then three different browsers. Each time I got the same "oops" message. I was advised to try my phone without the wifi and it worked straight away and asked for the code.
Following the given connection procedure, resulting in NOW TV logo only then blank blue screen. No further instruction or connection to my internet.
I have exactly the same problem, so a solution is really needed. Will be keeping an eye on this thread.
Same thing is happening to me!
Same problems here - even after resetting the stick.
It seems a load of us are having the same problem today (8/4/19) so probably a problem at their end. My new account works on my PC.
Maybe the stick is faulty take it back to where you bought it from i had this issue
Hi did you work out what the problem was in having the same problem
Having the same issue, how do we fix?
Apologies for marking this a solved. I hit the button by mistake.
This problem is definitely not solved.
Same problem here over the past hour. Got the code generated then the same error message at the others on this stream.
Same problem here. Been trying for 3 hours now. On live chat but just been told to do normal rest but still end up on same ooops page. Very frustrating.
Was on live chat and they said the same, reset and only connect one device to the wifi but doesn't fix the problem. No help what so ever from customer service.
I am having problems as well. I had an online chat with the help centre and they're going to email me back, but while I was on the website a red message came up to say they're aware of a fault for people setting up at the moment. They're working to fix it.
Working for me now so presume they have fixed whatever the problem was. Phew!
