NowTV Stick buffering

Hi All,

 

I have a NowTV stick which i have had for a couple of years now. It has been well used being our main entertainment device but over the past month or so we have been getting an increasing buffering on it.

 

I know that it isn't the broadband as we are getting 250mbps and all other devices are working extremely efficiently (including netflix which is built into the TV itself) so I can only conclude that the NowTV stick is old and running into issues.

 

Has anyone experienced this? is it expected?

 

I am paying for Sports/Movies/Entertainment and have done so consistently for 2 years so a bit perplexed to have to buy a new device on top of that.

 

Keen to hear others thoughts or anyone who has had similar experiences

Do you happen to know which Wi-fi channel your connected to with the stick? 

Is it 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

 

Have you tried unplugging your router? 

Doing a factory reset to the stick?
