Are you using the smart remote with the nowtv stick ?
If so have you tried re pairing the remote ?

If the repairing doesn't work some people have had some success by factory resetting the stick by holding the small reset button on the stick for about 15 seconds.
please note if you decide to factory reset the stick and the smart remote is then found to be broken then you won't be able to use the free Roku Remote Controller App with your smartphone has a stop gap measure until your replacement remote arrives.
If the stick is less than 12 months old, then get in touch with the Retailer you purchased it from and ask for a replacement under warranty.
