Now Smart Stick not showing Box Office

Ordered the Now Smart Stick to watch the Joshua fight tonight. I have ordered the event on Box Office using same email as my Now account. However the Box Office app doesn’t show up on the smart stick. In fact my smart stick doesn’t even have an ‘app store’ to search for the Box Office app? 

Can anyone help?! I’ve shelled out money for the stick and the box office event (almost £50!)

It worked for this forum member on this linked thread below, where i am assuming you are on the home now screen page with the NOW Stick.

Seems to be a software update glitch on the NOW Stick, where somebody else on the forum mentioned the same thing.

 

From the home screen page, press the back button on the remote and a secondary set of options will appear on the left hand side of the screen, then select Apps Store to see if the Sky Box Office App is there to add to My Apps.

@schnapps Pressing the back button but no such secondary option list applies unfortunately…

@schnapps thank you - I had to plug it into a different tv upstairs (don’t know why this would make a difference).

 

At first pressing return button wasn’t working. But then from Home Screen - I tapped ‘Home’ once, then ‘Return’ once, and sure enough a little menu popped up on the left.

 

Not exactly user-friendly 😂 and the customer service was shocking earlier…

Good to hear 👍.

 

If you are going to swap back the Stick to the original TV, then double check the Stick isn't in a wifi dead spot.
