Wasted 2-3 hrs trying to get nowtv stick to output Dolby digital.
I thought it was my pioneer lx81 amp not recognising the hdmi input that according to the fire stick set up was set to auto recognise via hdmi or could be forced to see the various Dolby digital configurations.
Guardians sounds pretty good in auto recognised Dolby digital 5.1 via Netflix on an AppleTV4K box.
Blade runner 2049 sounds very poor in comparison in Recognised stereo via the NowTV stick.
had I been able to get the NowTV app to work on the AppleTV4K box I understand it would still only export in stereo. Already cancelled my 1month free pass on this issue alone. Netflix and Peime must be quaking in their boots - “not”
