New Smart Stick is stuck on 'Let's get started'

I've only just bought the NOWTV smart stick. Every time I try to get it working I connect to the wifi then it updates its software and then when it re powers it goes back to 'Let's get started' Can this be fixed?

It might sound daft, but you could try doing a factory reset to the device.

Another thing is that you could unplug your router for a few minutes. 

Worst case I would return the stick and spend a little more to get an Amazon fire stick.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
