NOW tv scam

Signed up for the free package didn't like it cancelled my subscription but still getting charged. Only notice I was still getting charged when I got an email stating that I was getting charged for multiple devices. The contact us section is useless as provides no explanation or means of making sure I don't get charged. There is absolutely no means of getting this resolved on the web portal as there isn't a contact number to talk to any one and the chat bot appears to have very limited functions and is pointless.

Would be great to talk yo someone ro get this resolved

What trial did you take?

If it was this one from the link then your automatically signed up to cinema, entertainment and boost. All memberships would need to be cancelled individually to stop any payments.

To speak with staff you need to go to live chat by clicking “chat online” within the green box. Don’t click “get help quicker” as this is a bot.

Just tried and getting no advisors avaliable message guessing they are closed because of the bank holiday will try tomorrow.

I accessed it on a roku stick. And have checked my account on now tv numerous times and it doesn't show any packages as being active. So assumed all had been cancelled.

Hopefully this will be resolved when I can reach the team.

If you are still struggling to resolve this with NOW the best you can do in the meantime is contact your card issuer to stop any further payments goings forwards.

Just sharing that i got a suspicious call today on my landline.  On pressing 1471 after hanging up, the number showed up as : 0175 481 9927

In case you get a similar 'Easter treat', don't give your name, number or any info.  Don't press 1 or any other instructed key (but you could pretend to press another one and say something about tracing the call...).

The number has been reported to NowTV on Twitter and  @phishing.gov.uk.

Hopefully, the rest of 'Teephone scam' is correct and relates to a telephone call of relevance.

The number 🚩 0175 481 9927 has been reported, don't give them any info.  Don't press 1, or any other key they tell you to press.

Me too, they've been charging me for three separate memberships since I signed up for a free one and cncelled. Had no idea. been a year.

@angrypeta You have only noticed after a year? Have you checked your account, or accounts if you have had more than one to see if anything is still active there?

Yes, believe it or not. They kept sending me offers, none of the emails are
opened. And then they signed me up for boost which I did NOT order. God
knows what's in the small print. Talking to a bot is not satisfactory.

If you didn’t sign up for any new memberships then I would strongly recommend putting a payment PIN on your account.

@angrypeta And have you checked your account/s as I mentioned? You can cancel any ongoing memberships at any time.
