If you want to find a quick answer do what I do:
GIVE UP. Buy a NowTV stick mine was £20. Annoying but I assume the TV channels license their app to the highest bidding manufacturer. My Samsung TV has the app but not the Panasonic.
Buy an Amazon fire stick or as @Fastrack1966 suggested buy a NOW stick.
Prime day is coming, so you will get a fire stick for cheap no doubt.
Buy a now stick or a Firestick
Now Sticks are no more, in the UK at least. So make that a Roku Stick or Express, or an Amazon FireStick.
We’re away for the weekend, and I’ve brought our Roku Stick, and we don’t have to care what the TV in our room is - it’s an old Sony KDL-22S5500 and not even smart - as long as it has an HDMI port and, ideally, a USB port with enough welly to drive the stick, though I brought the mains adaptor in case not.
And the Roku even walks you through making the connection in a hotel, where you normally need browser authentication - I don’t know if the FireStick does that?
But we can get our nightly fix of Bosch and Lupin, as usual, and perhaps see what Now has to offer as well….
Buy an Amazon Firestick
Why not a Roku device?
(And what are the odds that somebody is still patiently waiting for an answer, after getting on for six months? 😛)
HA HA! Thanks Everyone, Yes I'm still here. Guess what we bought a Toshiba TV and that has No Now either! Anyway no need for a stick we reinvested in a £39 per month Sky deal. However that was another story. See my post in a min about deceitlful sales person. Not strictly a NOW issue but I got little attention on the Sky community forum 🤔
