Error code when trying to update

We have a NowTV stick in the back of the tele and it is saying update required. We start the update and at about 30% we get error 007 and just says can’t update. It means we can’t update our box and resulting in us not being able to access NowTV. 

any help on what to do with the 007 error?

Have you unplugged both your stick and router for a few minutes?

Best to do a factory reset to the stick to clear anything that could stop it from working properly.

Adding to what @gavs82008 has said, are you powering the Now Stick from a mains adaptor?

It will power perfectly well from a USB socket on the TV for normal use, but not usually for updating.

I’ve actually just an hour ago updated my Now Stick without incident after getting the ‘Update Needed’ message (except the batteries in the remote were flat and had to be replaced), even though it’s just on USB power; but if it had demurred, I would have put it on a mains adaptor and tried again.

If you get it going again, and you have a Cinema membership, try it out on a James Bond movie 😛
