Deactivating my now TV account

I’ve seen this question multiple times but for some reason I still can’t seem to work it out. I’ve cancelled all my subscriptions & would like to deactivate my NOW TV account and get rid of my NOW TV box. For some reason. I can’t seem to get in touch with anyone that works at NOW TV. Does anyone know how to get in contact with someone?

As regards the box, Factory Reset it to clear any account details on it (very important) after which you can dispose of it as you wish (sell it, give it away, charity shop, local tip) subject only to the rules on recycling electrical equipment:-

I presume, by the way, that you are talking about a Now streaming box (one that plugs in to your TV).

Some people confuse these with the Now router (that plugs into a telephone socket).

if this is the case here, please come back and say so, as the rules are different.

Would be better if that entire article was re-word with 'How to close your account'. 

@Simon-J is this something that can be looked into? 

Or perhaps a new help article for those that do want to close their account. As not everyone will know they need to email support to get that done.

My mother warned me as a tiny tot never to click on such links.
