iPhone sport app terrible reception suddenly

I have the mobile only sports app and suddenly the quality has gone from brilliantly solid to shocking. It’s entirely a Now issue as iPlayer and every other streaming app works perfectly and I have very strong Wi-Fi so no issues there. I literally can’t watch for a minute without the picture collapsing into an unwatchable mess. Up until the last couple of weeks I’ve never had an issue at all.

iphone 7plus, latest IOS, reinstalled Now app etc. Any ideas?

I know the Private Relay Setting on some iOS mobile devices with the NOW App prevents some owners from watching anything on NOW.

But not sure if this Setting being disabled causes poor picture quality on screen.

I am assuming it happens on both using your home Router over wifi and when testing on your mobile internet data if you have a data plan on your phone.

Unfortunately i don't own any Apple iOS devices or use my smartphone when watching NOW.
