Watching downloads closes app down

I watch Now on my iPad. I’m now on day 3 on my app closing down as soon as I click on downloads. (I can watch ‘live’). I’ve followed advice, resetting router, rebooting iPad, uninstalling & reinstalling app, several times, to no avail.

online chat says it’s a known problem with IOS but I’ve not seen that anyone else had the same problem.

anyone out there experiencing this?

It might not be a similar issue, but this thread indicates there is issues with the iOS version of the app.
