Watching abroad

I’ve tried to watch NOW tv while abroad in an EU country but get a message stating that the content is restricted to UK and RoI only.
ok, but while looking into this (I am a UK serviceman serving overseas for six months), the NOW help pages say that you can watch programmes in an EU country for 30 days?

which is right? I have only been here for three days!

What equipment are you trying to watch on - mobile, laptop, stick, box?

Have you used the account in the UK before trying to watch abroad?

Is the payment card used for the account a UK bank and your address the card registered at in the UK?

Can you check your IP address? If you are on a military base, the bases security systems may change your IP address to one outside the EU.

Turn off your VPN and connect to the WiFi. Go to a well known search engine and type "what's my IP address". Click on one of the links below the IP address and it will give the location of your connection.

Also, very few, if any, VPN's work with nowtv! They actively work to block them.
