Video freezes immediately, but sound continues

Android app on phone (POCO F3) 

App is updated to most recent version. 

Whenever I try and watch live sports, the picture immediately freezes, but sound continues. Sometimes this doesn't happen, and it plays normally, maybe 1 in 10 times.

Is it the same over Wi-Fi and your mobile data?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
