T8-AML-V3s - we don't support HDMI streaming to your TV from mobile devices

Why does this App / Sky think this is a mobile device?

It is an Android console bought in original form and more powerful than their Roku branded thing.

Netflix works just fine and will be my go to for content if this is not something that can be fixed.

Yeah I'm guessing they are limiting the streaming to a number of devices because they want you to buy their box. That is just daft to me - why would I want to consider a seperate set top box just for this service? 

 

Anyway - their loss I'll stick to the content I have if they want to be restrictive.
