Subtitles not aligned while casting from iPhone to chromecast

While casting from iPhone app to Chromecast the subtitles are not aligned to the centre any more

I have the same problem, but I'm casting from an Android phone. The subtitles are moved to the left of the TV screen, cutting the first couple of letters off or so. 

 

Have you found a solution? Does anyone have any advice? 

 

Using a first gen Chromecast with the Now TV app on a Google Pixel 3. 

 

I have no problems casting with any other apps like BBCplayer and Netflix.

I'm having the same problem when casting with both iPad and Android. If I use iPad to cast the subtitles also get blurry and almost unreadable. Reading other topics it seems it's an old problem that Now TV never addressed..
