Something's not right error message Android app

Can't log into the Android app. Always get the "Something's not right..." message. Tried reinstalling, on/off etc. Login works on website.

Can you tell us the following information so we can understand what might be causing this:

 

Are you inside the UK?

Are you connected to a VPN or some kind of private network for work when trying to sign in?

Having the same issue.
I'm abroad, why does it matter if we aren't in the UK if we are paying for the service? I'm paying, can I not use it abroad? If so, how do I cancel and get a refund because this feels heavily missold.

Hi @Anonymous User

 

We only have the broadcast rights for the UK, hence why our terms and conditions (that you would have accepted if you are a NOW TV Customer) state that our service is UK only.

I'm having this same problem on my Nexus 7 and galaxy s6 app. Still in the UK, never had this problem before but now it won't let me log in and watch anything and just says "somethings not right" 

 

Please fix!!

Are you using a home Wi-Fi connection on your phone? Have you tried a 3G/4G connection by any chance? 

 

If you are using a VPN connection please disable this and try the NOW TV app again.

I have tried that. When I go into my account to asks for payment details yet they have already charged my account the last 2 months. When I try to log in over 3g it says I need to confirm the terms and conditions on the website, when I try access to website I can't find it. I just want to cancel my account at this point. I have paid for this month so I want either a refund or access for the rest of the month I have paid for.

If you keep being asked for payment details when you log into the website you've logged in with the wrong username (for instance you might have logged into an old Sky ID you've used with Sky TV or broadband my mistake, or an old NOW TV account you forgot about).

Try logging in with any other accounts you've set up (check the My Account section of any devices you watch on to see what your username is, or check any emails you've received to see if they have the correct username on them).

When you're logged in with the right account, you should see the pass you've paid for on your My Account > My Passes page http://account.nowtv.com/passes and you'll then be able to log in with that username on your devices.
