Picture in picture on iPad

Hi,

Are there plans to provide picture in picture on an iPad so when press home button the picture reduces to a corner of the screen?

I can do this with BBC iPlayer, BT sport and TV Player apps.

Have just tested this on my iPad, works fine with Netflix. Whenever I use Now TV and "go back" to the home screen it just stops the stream. 

Perhaps this is a setting not implemented for iOS?

Customer services have got back to me. Basically, PiP isn’t available for the iPhone app yet. They are working on it as we speak but, of course, they wouldn’t commit to a time-scale.

They did say that they would be in touch when it’s released so, if I get an email, I’ll post the good news on here.

Hello all,

This is a very useful picture to bring on the ipad. We are not able to work or do something else except keeping the app in full screen.
