Not allowed to download NOW TV app from Play Store

So I Recently got a NOW TV subscription and I would like to watch things on the go on my Samsung Galaxy A10 (2019) phone however in the play store I am not allowed to download the app due to apparently my phone not fitting the requirements. It says "Your device isn't compatible with this version."

I went online and found the requirements for the app which included:

• Android 5.0 or higher    (I just upgraded to Android 11)
• Brought in the UK           (Yes I have brought it in the UK)
• CPU 1.0 GHz or Higher  (Mine has 2x 1.6 GHz)
• At least 1GB of RAM       (Mine has 2GB)

In conclusion my phone has the requirements to download the app but its not letting me, if someone could please explain to me why this is then please let me know.

Are you currently residing in the UK?

Are you using the UK play store?

Are you downloading the correct 'Now' app (there are several)?

If yes to all the above, try clearing your Play Store data and cache. You can also roll back or delete any Play Store updates that may be blocking the app.

Have you been on a PC and tried to add the app via your online Google account? If not, try and see if you get the same error. If you do click on the 'details' as it may give a reason.

@Anonymous User Another thought - are you by any chance Italian and trying to access Now Italia while in the UK?

I just tried to access the Now Italia app and got the same error. Now apps are geo-locked.

Thanks to you message I have just realised that I have been using a different play store account which is registered in a different country as I go there often. Therefore I switched back to my main UK one and I can now install it.

Thank you so much for helping me deal with this and suggesting the UK Play Store as I did not think of that at all 😂
