NOW TV iOS app version 10.1.0 - downloads!

Good to see that version 10.1.0 of the NOW TV iOS app is rolling out at last!

"If you've got a Sky Cinema, Entertainment, Kids or hayu Month Pass, you can now download shows and movies to your iPhone or iPad to watch anywhere - even when you're offline"

Have received an update for my iPhone and can confirm that I have the option for downloads on Movies and Entertainment content.

Nothing for my iPad yet though.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Looks like Android is also getting the offline download update pushed out as well at the same time according to this Engadget article posted today.

Nothing rolled out on my Android smartphone yet.

This article says it has rolled out iOS devices, but will be rolled out to Android devices later in the week.

Wasn’t this an update that was promised by the end of the year? In which case, just made it! Although the other promised (or implied) update, full HD, missed the target.

Well, the Updated Android app allowing downloads has just arrived on my phone. Not one of my four registered devices, but I know a lot of people will be pleased to see it arrive.

As it turned out my iPad needed a software update.

And yes there was an update for Now TV so I can download onto my iPad.

Better than no downloads at all, but allowing only 48 hours after viewing starts, this makes no sense at all.

What’s the point of deleting a download after 48 hours???

Hi, does anyone know how to delete from device to free up storage space for more downloads, once u have watched. Or do you have to wait for it to auto delete after 48 hours? Thanks

Hi @Anonymous User

I don't own an iPhone, but according to this linked article it mentions to sign out of the NOW App to delete the download.

I am assuming when you sign back into the NOW App on your phone the download will be removed.

I am also guessing if you have more that one NOW download all downloads will be lost.

To be honest i have never downloaded NOW content on my smartphone.
