*Make and model of your device
*Software version
*NOW TV app version
*When does the app crash - when you're opening the app, when you're playing Entertainment, playing Movies or Sports?
*Have you tried any other troubleshooting steps other than uninstall and re-install?

App crashes after closing and reopening on ANY programme, sports, entertainment etc
Have tried other solutions as previous in this discussion
Still fails every time I switch it on. Have to delete app, reload and do the passwords every time. Really not good.

This is a known error, that seems to be a fault with the device itself since the 5.1 update.
The best thing we can advise at present is to speak with Tesco's customer support directly.

We're aware that a number of Tesco Hudl 2 users are experiencing an issue where the NOW TV app crashes in some circumstances.

Every 1 or 2 days. Might get through to choice of program, on choosing it returns to my desktop screen.
Anytime I open the app on the hudl 2 it shuts down. Restarting does not help. i need to uninstall and reinstall the app and it will work once.
Clearing cache seems to have solved issue.
Still annoying!
