When are NOW TV users going to gain a function for their smart devices which enables them to watch what they watching on their device and a looks them to transfer it to their TV or viasa versa !!

Hi @Anonymous User,

 

Unless it an be proved that the Android operating system can be made more secure at the HDMI output stage (ie: so the A/V data stream can't be copied on-route), I very much doubt NOW TV will officially support its app on such devices!

 

Sky (the parent company of NOW TV) have always been very pro-active when it comes to securing their content.

Why not just get a Chromecast? You can then just "cast" the stream of what you are watching to it. NOW TV works well with it and you can probably get one dirt cheap second hand off ebay.

Surely if it's available to cromecast, it can be made available to the Roku devices offered by NOWTV to.

Do you mean download content from nowtv on a mobile device and watch where there is no internet connection, such as being out and about away from home etc ?

 

Then, if this is the case then the good news is that sometime this year nowtv will be offering the option to download nowtv content to watch on your mobile device.
