Error Code 72

Hi,

All of a sudden I cannot watch anything on my tablet on Now TV as it's showing error code 72 - unknown or invalid error.

Is anyone else having this issue or can anyone advise what I should do?

I have deleted and reinstalled the app and tried signing out and back in again but nothing seems to work - any help would be great 👍🏻

Hi @Michelle 

What TV NOW Membership or Memberships do you have ?

Is it happening to all NOW content or certain content ?

A bit of a long shot have you tried a full power shutdown on your Android Tablet, give it say five minutes and then restart it again, then try the NOW App to see if you are still getting this error 72.

If you have other playback devices are you encountering something similar or they play fine ?

Is the antivirus on your tablet up to date?

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
