Downloading on Android (Kindle fire) not working

So, google play updated, and it's now possible to download programmes, but when I click on the download button, it starts to act as though it's downloading, then it "restarts" to the NOWTV splash screen that you get when you start the app up, and it's back to the main menu, and with no download happening.

I've moved the app from the SD card to the tablet itself, but makes no difference.

Anyone any idea?

Update, had a chat online, and looks like it's because I've got NOWTV side loaded on teh Kindle fire using google play store, so it's not a NOWTV issue, it's the fact Kindle Fire doesn't support NOWTV at the moment (officially anyway)
