Does using mobile pass trigger 24hr sports pass?

I have a 24hr day pass I'm saving, but I also have 8 months mobile sports, the 24hr pass says start watching on any device to activate, so if I watch something on my phone will that trigger the 24hr pass?

If you watch a channel that is not on the mobile membership this will trigger the 24 hour membership.
