Cannot watch any show on iPad iOS 15 as of 4 days ago

This is my main device (iPad pro running ios15.2.1)  my partner has an iPad, on iOS 14, no issues. I cannot watch anything on the app as of past 4 days, I’ve deleted app twice same issue. App itself works until I click into a show then same error each time asking me to try later, if issue persists close or reinstall app.

No I’m talking about the iOS system update for the iPad itself not the app.

When you update your iPad to the latest iOS you’ll then be able to watch content.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

There was an iOS update not long ago. You need to update the software before you can watch the app.

As I watched Billions and South Park today on my iPad without any issues.

The last update was 2 months ago according to the App Store information. In any case the last time I deleted and reinstalled the app was 1 hour ago which would always reinstall the latest version of the app.

I am still getting the same error code and unable to watch anything

Thank you for clarifying @gavs82008

I scheduled an overnight update, and happily report this morning a return to normal service.

I appreciate your help.

I have a problem on my iPad which comes and goes, but which often stops me watching any Now streaming content on Safari.

It’s always fine if I switch to the Chrome browser instead.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
