App will no longer open Samsung tab

My app used to work ok on my tablet but in the last couple of weeks at least it does not manage to open. It comes up with the logo but then I get a system error because "it stopped too many times" and it closes.

Any ideas on what to do?

Everything else:prime, Netflix etc seems to work as usual. Just not nowtv.

If it hasn’t  fixed itself in the meantime, power cycle your tablet and try again.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
If you take an offer that comes with a ‘free trial’ of Boost or another Membership, Cancel them straight away. You will still get the full duration of the trial, and if you decide you do want to continue with one or another of the trial products, just revisit the Cancel, and UnCancel it.

Thanks for your help.

That was the first thing I tried and unfortunately it did not fix it. I wonder whether it tries to use a lot of memory when launching, does not have enough and crashes. Unfortunately I would not know how to debug to check if that was the case. 

It is not a bad tablet, a Samsung Tab A but it's not the most powerful either
