App not working on tablet

Hi

I have just bought the Google Pixel Slate tablet and have downloaded the Nowtv app, the app opens and operates fine but as soon as I try to watch something the app just closes with a notification saying 'The app has stopped working'

The app works fine on my Google Pixel mobile

The device is a Google Pixel Slate 12.3

I'm based in the UK and using my home WiFi.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem. It was working in the Google Slate until about a month ago.

I have the same problem on my Slate - App crashes out as soon as you try to watch anything.

Please fix complatibility ASAP

The only workaround I've found until now is to sideload an old version of the app from apkmirror.

Hey Guys

What version of Android does your Google Slate runs?

I asked because smartphone and tablets can only have their android OS updated a limited number of times, and when that runs out you will find that your apps that require the latest version of android will no longer work.

That's how the manufacturers keep you buying new smartphones and tablets.
