Adsssssss

I'm really disappointed that you have decided to feature ads in between shows!!! Not only do you have to pay for subscription but you are now asking customers to pay a further payment to have ads removed!!! I am actually shocked. Netflix, Disney plus, Amazon do not have this type of add-on and run AD free between shows. This is a bit cheeky of NOW TV. You'll be losing a lot of customers this way. Last year I was considering leaving now TV but decided to stay after you offered me a deal. I thought wow NOW TV really care about their customers. I'm definitely reconsidering keeping my subscription and thinking of leaving again, I don't want to go back paying full price for a streaming service that runs ads. I'm so disappointed and WAS very happy with NOW TV and enjoyed watching the shows. What a shame.

The point is that this is nothing new in the world of streaming. Most US streaming services all have different plans which have adverts at a small fee and at double the price to get rid of the adverts.

There is Hulu, Paramount+ and more recently Peacock TV (which is owned by Comcast who owns Sky).

Comcast who owns Sky is a US company and they will be wanting to push their business model into the territories that the company has a footprint in.

I really don't care if this is a business model from the US. We live in the UK and no other streaming platforms have this type of model. It's a good way to lose customers. @gavs82008

Personally I don't agree with it either.

However Comcast doesn't care on what country it operates, that is the business model they want to enforce on its territories that it owns.

They own Sky/NOW in several other European countries which will no doubt be "forced" with the US business model.
