I'm sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered when trying to play NOW TV on your safari browser.

Can you please let us know if you are able to play out NOW TV on Firefox?

Please also open Silverlight, click on the Playback tab and unsure the second box is unticked.

Please let us know how you get on.

Re: problem with microsoft silverlight using Apple iMac

i am having the same problem and am struggling to find an email address for nowtv apart from joining the forum where it seems the nowtv team respond?

I can't access any tv or movie on here and it has been like that for a few days now. the screen sits there just loading but it has given me no option to reinstall silverlight unike some other users have been prompted to do. i have uninstlled and reinstalled silverlight numerous times now and still am struggling.

Looking at the nowtv team responses i'll try to download firefox and try to stream through that, but it that doesn't work then i may have to reconsider my subscriprtion as i dont want to pay fomr something that i can't use 😞

Re: problem with microsoft silverlight using Apple iMac

I am having the same problem. Now TV insists that I need to update silverlight. I have updated and updated. Uninstalled, reinstalled and it does not work at all.  I am very irritated by this and have spent literally hours trying to fix it.

Re: problem with microsoft silverlight using Apple iMac

Same problem here.

Why should i have to load firefox when it has worked perfectly well with Safari, up to now?

Netflix works fine!

Re: problem with microsoft silverlight using Apple iMac

We are having the same problem, we have installed silverlightabout 3 times now, can't open it inspite of having installing it and are pretty annoyed that we can't watch now TV on Safari. We shouldn't need to download a whole different browser to watch Now TV when it has been working fine all along.

Please let us know what is happening to resolve this issue.

Re: problem with microsoft silverlight using Apple iMac

Having exactly the same issue as everyone else have installed & uninstalled then re installed and made sure the second box is unticked on playback. Then downloaded firefox and I get a little bit further in that it says loading and the circle spins and spins and spins and spins.. and spins a bit more.. and then a little bit more.. and then doesnt give me the option to stop it spinning or to sign out or anything else. So I updated my mac aswell and re checked all the silverlight bits box still unchecked and it still doesnt like it.. frustrating doesnt even start to cover it!!

Re: problem with microsoft silverlight using Apple iMac

Hi @Anonymous User

Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear that you're having issues with Silverlight.

Can you confirm if you have tried Firefox browser?

Have you tried unticking the second box under the "Playback" tab in Silverlight itself?

Let us know how you get on and we'll look into this further for you.

Thanks,

Rob
