live tv not playing through app on lg tv

any ideas i cannot see live tv throught the app on my lg tv, i can on catch up but just says stream quality on blank screen. it is a 42ln575v-ze tv

Hi @Anonymous User,

The NOW TV app offers access to NOW TV services only. Which does not include ITV.

And unfortunately LG televisions to not include the 'ITV Hub' app either (or All4 for that matter). They just offer BBC iPlayer and Demand5 (or whatever it's now called).

My apologies @Anonymous User, I've just noticed you said 'live TV' and not 'ITV' 

Depending on the NOW TV services you've subscribed to your LG televisions NOW TV app will offer access to various 'live' NOW TV content. Indeed, I have the 32" version of your television in my bedroom, and access 'live' NOW TV content most nights 😉

So in the interest in collecting information: -

• What's your NOW TV 'app' version?
  [Which can be found by launching the NOW TV app then visiting: My Account and looking 'top right' of the screen...]
• Have you tried your LG televisions 'Intialization of App' option (if available on your model)?
  [Which can be found via: Support '?' Initialization of App...]
• How is your LG television connected to the internet. Is it via a wired or wireless (WiFi) ethernet connection?
• Do other 'apps' such as BBC iPlayer work okay on your LG television?
