Unusual picture issue - vertical interlace effect

I'm using the Now TV app on an LG 55UB830V and have an unusual picture issue.

Every other *column* of pixels is missing, creating a vertical interlace effect.

Has anyone else experienced this?

It really causes problems with this objects like streetlights, transparencies like smoke and also out of focus objects.

Well Hog

Sounds like a faulty TV, you have one of two choices, i.e. repair or replace.

I don't believe the TV is the issue as all other media (including other now TV movies and entertainment shows) looks fine.

Hi Hog

If you don't believe your TV is at fault then what do you think it is and why?

It’s quite an old model so maybe a software issue, just guessing.

Gary & Hog

Are you guys just one person?

If so, why do you have two (confusing) interchangeable user names?

I’m not seeing what makes you think we’re the same person or what’s confusing about my username I answered the op by saying I hadn’t experienced the same issue and then to say it could be a software issue as they have an older model tv.  I think you are confused.

Yeah Gary

Maybe I am getting confused, I'm possibly seeing similarities that just arn't there. Sorry for that.
