Welcome to the forum. If it's been happening for a couple of months sounds like a bug that was affecting the black NOW TV box - is that the one you are using? If so it was supposed to be fixed when the box updated to firmware 8.0.3 - check which you are on by going to Settings > System > About on your box and check the software version is 8.0.3. If not go to Settings>System>System Update to see if an update is waiting.
If you are already on 8.0.3 and still having trouble post back and I'll tag @Anonymous User from the NOW TV Team to make him aware.
