sky need to add this channel if they want more people to get now tv. and it wouldn't be hard to do as they already stream watch and other channels via the sky go app for people who have a sky tv package.
@Anonymous User its would not cost any extra as sky have already the rights to stream this channel via sky go. making it available on now TV for free if they wanted too but knowing sky they would want to increase the fee so they can make more money if they wanted too all the channls on sky go could be watched on now tv with the right package.
@Anonymous User content isn't free. In your example there would be no reason why the whole SkyGo line-up couldn't be on NowTV. If you're watching it, someone will want a share of your subscription.

Once again you are ignoring that the NowTV service has NOTHING that the dish service does not have yet there is STILL a monthly CHARGE applied to every user...

NowTV does not get channels FREE they have to pay for every channel independant of BskyB...
Thats why you are paying them.... Not BskyB...
The £6.99 pays for 13 TV chaannels and boxsets to be licensed to NowTV...
To make NowTV licensed to stream up to 14 channels how much would you pay...
up to £7.50 per month for 14 TV channels or only £7.25 pcm...
Watch Will not let there content stream with out Money from NowTV per month...
Every channel all ready on NowTV gets paid by NowTV for there content but that money will have to come out of the Users subs...
@Anonymous User and once again your not getting my point. Now TV Is owned by Bskyb. which started now TV so they could make more money from the channels that they were already streaming on the sky go service.
so if they wanted too they could offer more on now TV with out a price increase depending on how there licencing agreement with the channels is worded.
watch already get money from bskyb for the rights to stream its channel so bskyb could let now TV add this to there selection for free if they wanted to. plus you have no idea if now TV has its own independent licencing deals with the channels or if they come under a bskyb one. i doubt sky would want to pay twice for the same service so would of thought it was one licence to bskyb then sky save money by paying once for both sky go and now TV and chose just to show it on sky go.
@Anonymous User Sky only have a license to their dish subscribers. This will be payed based on the number of people using the service. You can't simply then give away this content to more users for nothing.
As I said it all depends on the wording of the licence bskyb have with the channels. it could be to the whole of bskyb or limited to certain parts of the company. as now tv is separate so they can charge twice for something if not they would just sell subscriptions to sky go. plus it doesn't matter how many customers sky have it will be a set price as sky does mot know which of there customers will want this service or normal sky so will not be paying a fee per customer.
